DePuy ASR Products Subject to Recall

The following DePuy ASR hip implants have been recalled:

  1. DePuy ASR Acetabular Cups
  2. DePuy ASR Femoral Primary Heads
  3. DePuy ASR Femoral Modular XL Heads
  4. DePuy ASR XL Head Taper Sleeve Adaptors
  5. DePuy ASR XL Anatomic Heads
  6. DePuy ASR XL Anatomic Taper Sleeve Adaptors
  7. DePuy ASR 300 Cups
  8. There are also a number of other DePuy ASR implants which have been recalled

    Heard that the metal on metal is causing metal to go into the patients blood stream. It's about time for a recall.

    It's so sad and disturbing to know that after you've put yourself under knife and deal with all the post-operative pains, you'll find out that your implant might be possibly defective.

    The victims seek the best medical option out there to alleviate hip pain, only to find out that the hip replacement is defective. What a truly waste of time,money and effort!
